About the Brand

The Paul Mayer brand is described as ‘modern classics.’ Designer, Paul Mayer, got his start in the fashion industry by working for Charles Jourdan as a young adult. He previous work repertoire includes famous designers such as Pancaldi in Italy, Manolo Blanhik and Walter Steiger. After working for famous shoe designers for so long, Paul Mayer decided to branch out on his own in 1981 and he hasn’t stopped growing his brand since!

In 2004, Paul Mayer partnered with Jeff Levy to create a new brand of footwear that was focused on both style and comfort. They wanted every woman to experience the comfort of a tennis shoe, but without the look of a ‘comfort shoe’. After working with expert technicians in a factory in Spain, the Paul Mayer brand was born and has been a recognizable name in the fashion community for the past 20 years!
