For the past 10 years, you could find The Shoe Spa at “the intersection of comfort and fashion,” and the next 10 years will be no different. We’ve been proud to serve our loyal customers for the past decade, and the next one should be even more thrilling!
A look back at The Shoe Spa through the years
Our dream began in 2005 when Beth Weingarten became frustrated that finding a fashionable pair of designer, comfort shoes was so difficult. She went from one store, to another store, and to another after that looking for a pair of shoes that wouldn’t leave her with aching ankles and feet and that she would feel proud and fashionable wearing. The concept simply didn’t exist!
Beth, her husband, John, and their son, Michael, opened the doors of The Shoe Spa for the first time in December 2005. The unique, fashion and comfort shoe store was an immediate success and was packed with our customers who enjoyed knowing they would find a pair of shoes they loved every time they came through the doors. The only problem, was our store was too small! From day one, The Shoe Spa received so many customers, that it was clear we needed to expand sooner, rather than later.
In fall 2009, The Shoe Spa opened a new location in the same area of Palm Beach County, Florida and remains there to this day. Being able to comfortably accommodate all of our customers and make the shopping experience that much more enjoyable was a huge step forward for our unique comfort shoe store. The expansion gave us both the space and the opportunity to hold countless events over the years that allowed our most loyal customers to mingle with friends, see the latest fashions, and of course score some great deals!
After receiving much praise for creating the “best selection of fashionable comfort shoes” found in the country, Michael began planning to expand The Shoe Spa’s reach to an online business. In April 2012, the first online orders were placed and now, The Shoe Spa is available to our customers nationwide.
What is coming in the future for The Shoe Spa
The Shoe Spa has always been dedicated to providing beautiful, comfortable shoes to women everywhere, and that won’t change in the future. In 2015, we’ve brought in several new designers to be included in our coveted collection and there will be more to come this year. We’re always looking for the newest and best styles and comfort shoe technology and we plan to make 2016 one of our most exciting years yet!
We have some exciting events coming up in the early part of this year where you can try on shoes from featured designers like Salpy, Paul Mayer, BeautiFeel, Naot and over thirty more! During these events, order a pair of completely customized shoes and get discounts on much loved styles from those designers.
The Shoe Spa also enjoys bringing you the timeliest news in the fashion industry as well as trendy styles and the newest fashion statements to hit the runways and the streets. Through our blog and our social media pages, we update you with news about our designers, comfort shoe technology, and celebrity fashion as well as updates about our store and our collection.
