The Arcopédico LS walking shoe is handmade in Portugal like every other design by the brand. The athletileisure walking shoes are extremely comfortable and made with breathable knitted nylon fabric and designed with the Arcopédico principles of ‘barefoot’ and ‘metal free arch support.’ The insole is removable and is well-padded for all ay wear.

About the Brand
Arcopédico was founded in Portugal in 1966 by Elio Parodi. Parodi was the inventor of the original knit shoe and has carried his design through every Arcopédico shoe. The Arcopédico shoe line is filled with high-quality women’s comfort shoes that specializes in lightweight, anatomically-designed, arch- and circulation-supporting shoes. Each design is hand made in Portugal with the goal to be lightweight, colorful, and simple with an ageless design.
Each design is unique, but share two fundamental design principles. The ‘barefoot’ upper is a soft, non-binding design that conforms to the top of your foot to allow healthy circulation and is as close to walking barefoot as possible without actually being barefoot! The second principle is the patented, metal-free twin arch-support soles that are made, instead, from molded polyurethane. The polyurethane material protects the foot arch and allows for distribution of bodyweight through the entire plantar surface. It’s a truly one-of-a-kind comfort and support system.
