Ticket to Timbuktu is the first brand from India that we carry at the Shoe Spa. We are inspired by the mission that drives the brand, and of course, the designs and quality of the shoes.
In an ideal world, corporate success is measured by financial gains as well as the positive influence it has on the community. Ticket to Timbuktu (TTT) was founded on this concept. The brand revives traditional Indian shoe-making techniques, provides local artisans employment opportunities to showcase their arts, and restores the environment through eco-awareness education & collaboration with NGO’s.
Ticket to Timbuktu started a foundation called Ticket TO Give with the mission to spread knowledge & support education for underprivileged children in India. For every shoe sold, TTT donates a book to a library for underprivileged children in India. The brand also uses their products as medium to communicate and educate their supporters about different cultural, environmental & social causes.
The TTT collection has 3 main lines – Red, Blue, and Green, which are inspired by arts & crafts of India, urban landscapes & the environment. All Ticket to Timbuktu shoes are handmade using high quality eco-friendly materials. Since the shoes are handcrafted, each shoe is unique and has a story to tell.
