John’s Favorite Shoe Of The Week! Mosaic Wedges
This is truly a beautiful shoe design with just enough whimsical features to make it special. Named after the famous Tiber river in Italy, the Tiber wedges are perfect for the world-traveler – in design and functionality.
My favorite detail is the printed suede showcasing a gray mosaic pattern on black background that covers the wedge and back of the heel. This whimsical pattern reminds me of the Italian mosaic technique that uses tesserae, small glass pieces, to create breath-taking images!
The rest of the shoe is matte black and made of microfiber with a slight stretch to hug the movement of the feet. Gray leather trimming runs along the sides of the shoe opening and the down the front adding a perfect finishing touch to the square-off toe. Soft blue leather lines the entire shoe for the smoothest feel and adds contrast to the external black and gray palette.
To make this a true luxury comfort design, the insole has Poron memory foam for healthy arch support and all day comfort. Even with all the luxurious details, the Tiber wedges are light and perfect for traveling!
