Farzana’s Favorite Shoe Of The Week! Ankle Boots
From traditional moccasins to modern booties, these were the shoes that accompanied women in their daily lives. Ankle boots evolved from a functional clothing piece to a fashion statement. In Victorian time, ankle boots were intended to cover a woman’s feet as naked feet were considered taboo.
Namento Ankle Boots by Gabor
Farzana selected the Namento Ankle Boots as this week’s favorite because of the vintage-inspired design mixed with subtle modern details. These boots were made by Gabor, a European luxury shoe company, with the finest materials. The embossed lace upper is made of suede leather showcasing a unique leaf and floral pattern that is similar to a Victorian floral motif.
Gabor included elastic goring on both sides of the foot. The matte black goring modernizes the look and adds additional comfort to the shoes. Even in warmer climates like Florida, this is a perfect choice to wear because the materials are light-weight and breathable. A touch of red on the sole makes this pair the go-to boots for many special occasions.
