FLY London Shoes
This is one of my favorite photos from our recent Atlanta trip! John is taking copious notes while I’m being gently strong armed by Goshi Adeli on my left and Jim Bosco on my right at the Atlanta Shoe Show. Goshi is the FLY London south eastern sales manager for the United States, and Jim is the North American distributor for FLY London Footwear which is headquartered in Portugal. Even though we are only entering our third year of doing business with FLY London, they have become one of our best brands. We started off with only eight styles from them two years ago, and for this coming season we will be featuring over sixty different styles and colors.
“Always progressive, never conventional” is the motto that guides the brand. This collection looks ultra hip at first glance – right off of Carnaby Street. “Swinging London” hs been a term used since the sixties for the fashion and culture scene; it emphasized the new and the modern. Fly London keeps this principal alive. The collection is full of unique design engineering and color, color, color. Their platform wedges appear to be for a contemporary young girl, but in reality they sell to all ages and are really loved most by many of our elder customers who love looking trendy and chic while feeling secure and steady. FLY London shoes provide a very stable footbed with great comfort, cushioning, and secure strapping. They really bridge the generation gap!
These shoes truly sell themselves. Often times when one customer tries on a pair, other customers in the store will ask to see the same shoe because of the vociferous raving. It’s certainly amazing to see four or five customers trying on Fly London shoes at the same time.
